Venice is one of our favourite cities in the world. It’s a one of a kind city where canals are streets, boats serve as cars, vaporetto as buses and gondoliers serenade ‘O sole mio’. Below you will find our favourite collection of picture spots from Venice. We hope that they will inspire you to visit this beautiful city and submerge in this unique experience.

1 – San Marco Square

Without a doubt is one of the most iconic locations. Come as early as 7AM to get the best light and avoid the crowds.

2 – Pier behind hotel San Moise

It’s a tricky one to get to. You will probably get a little bit lost and the GPS signal doesn’t work well in Venice. However, once you find this spot you will understand why it became beloved by all Instagrammers.

3 – Ponte Rialto

In Venice, there are two main spots for a classic perfect picture and they are located around the famous Ponte Rialto. One is on a pier here and it’s rather busy. The other one located on the opposite side is less popular and guarantees a beautiful picture.

4 – Ponte della Paglia with the view on Bridge of Sighs

Similar as on Piazza San Marco, if you’d like to shoot here, come as early as 7AM.

6 – Canal behind Gelatoteca Suso

A trip to Venice wouldn’t be complete without a delicious gelato. The best one you can find at Gelatoteca Suso in the centre. Once you have your delicious treat, head to the bridge behind the shop. It’s a perfect backdrop for your shots.

7 – Any bridge, any canal you will find.

Let’s be honest : every corner of Venice is wonderful to photograph. The ones we mentioned above are simply most popular ones. Wandering those tiny streets you’ll see the uniqueness and charm only Venice can offer.
